Kennedy Meeks like you have never seen him before.
Kennedy is not changing careers, although you potentially may hear some more of ‘Kenn’ on your playlists in the near future. Kennedy Meeks aka Kenn released his debut single on the weekend called ‘Saturday Night Interlude’.
Kennedy spoke to Ceiling is the Roof about this new side to him not many people have seen before.
Kennedy spoke to Ceiling is the Roof about his new adventure in music:
@britishtarheel: Your song came out this weekend, how have you found the response so far mate?
“People are loving it so far. I just wanted to give them a new sound and outlook on rapping!”Kennedy Meeks
@britishtarheel: How long have you wanted to do something like this?”
“Man I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, like since I was 14-15 years old. Never had enough courage to try it because of the whole focusing on basketball stuff, but the older you get the more you realize it’s ok to do more than one thing and be good at it.”Kennedy Meeks
Kennedy Meeks’ partner, Carmyn, is a music artist herself and has been a great supporter of Kennedy’s new adventure.
@britishtarheel: Can we expect to see a duet with you and Carmyn in the future?
“Not a duet, but on a song together… of course. We already have some together!”Kennedy Meeks

Meeks was traded to Changwon LG Sakers but did not play many games for his new side before returning to America to get ready for the 2021/22 Season. I did ask Kennedy if he was moving to music full-time and away from basketball:
“I’ll never stop hooping, ever. The game has been good to me. You’ll find out soon my next team.”Kennedy Meeks confirming he’s still playing basketball.
