Interview with Justin Pierce – First Season Overseas

I was able to have a conversation with Justin Pierce on the Ceiling is the Roof Podcast. We talked about his first season overseas in Finland, his time at the University of North Carolina and his Tar Heel Teammates (including most likely to get told off by Coach Williams…)

Justin recently finished his season with Kobrat in Finland and averaged over 16 PPG. This year, Kobrat reached the post-season for the second time in the club’s history. Pierce struggled with some injuries throughout the year, but did gain a lot of attention and can be very happy with his first season in professional basketball.

Pierce spent three years at William & Mary, playing alongside now Atlanta Hawks player, Nate Knight, before transferring to UNC. Pierce was a Graduate Transfer during the 2019/20 season in Chapel Hill and played 32 games in Carolina Blue.

Listen to the latest podcast on YouTube, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts, RadioPublic and find out more about Pierce’s first season overseas, his college career, travelling around Europe while playing overseas and who was most likely to get told off by Coach Williams.
